Tomorrow is a new day...

Dragging my feet, I sort through the checklist in my mind of things I should do before I embark on my journey. Tomorrow, I set off to Kentucky to see an old friend from high school whom I have shared many of my life experiences with. I am excited yet nervous to start the uphill portion of my journey. As I climb to the top, I hope to have realization of who I am and find truth through my travels.

After Kentucky, I am heading towards Chicago. I heard Jesus just left there so hopefully I can track him down before he gets too far. Thursday I head for Minneapolis for some ice fishing with "Other James" my roommate. After a 3 day stint where we plan to drink in the highlife and strike it rich by obeying the laws of the land (that is, drinking beer and taking advantage of being on a reservation by going to the casino).

Montana is next, how I get there is still up in the air but I might try and take in Mt. Rushmore along the way. As for what I do there... that's up to me, though I do plan on smiling once I get there. In early March I am going to head towards Seattle then down to Portland, through Eugene and into California where I plan on meeting up with some friends so we can explore wine country.

From San Fransisco I am going to drive down the coast until I hit Los Angeles where I plan to play paparazzi for a day. Once it's time I will get back in the car and drive to Vegas then Salt Lake City.
Dallas will be my last stop before re-entering the South.

As I cry out to myself, I feel empty and exposed yet excited about whats to come...
